Which is right for you?
Basically, if you want us to do 100% of the encoding, then Per-Minute packages might be a good fit. If you want the option to do the encoding yourself, then you might want to consider Per-GB packages. If you want the option to use your own player and determine the data rates to be streamed then you are a Per-GB customer. Lastly, packages that support ad-hoc live video streaming are currently only offered on the Per-GB basis.
The Per-Minute packages are designed for ease-of-use because we do all the encoding. We also provide you with a customized flash player and application interfaces to optimize the streaming experience for your users. All you do is pick a Per-Minute package that is within your budget. If you are not sure how much you will use, just pick one of the smaller packages to start off with and see how it goes.
WITH PER MINUTE PACKAGES YOU MUST USE IMEDIASEE ENCODING
The Per-GB live and Per-GB on-demand packages are capable of the same high-quality, low-cost flash video file hosting and streaming, but allow you to make all the decisions regarding encoding and players. The size of package you select depends on your anticipated traffic volume, but you don’t need to be a psychic. Our customer friendly pricing model let’s you pay as you go, with no monthly fees or wasted resources as each package is good for a year from the date of purchase.
Live video is offered on an ad-hoc basis via the Per-GB live packages or for Major Events on an hourly basis (see our highly competitive pricing for major live events).
