About Imediasee Player

The Imediasee Flash Video Player is used exclusively by web sites using the Imediasee Flash Video Streaming Service. It is designed to deliver an optimum viewer experience and support advanced Imediasee features like Dynamic Delivery™ which automatically detects your bandwidth and adjusts the video bit rate accordingly. Imediasee is focused on streaming high quality high bit rate video.

Tips for better playback:

  • Make sure you have sufficient bandwidth. 1.5Mbps or more is recommended for full screen high resolution videos.
  • Make sure you are running the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player. We try and detect the version of Adobe Flash Player you have installed and guide you through and upgrade if necessary, but there are some known problems with this process:
    • On Macs the process sometimes fails and all you will see is a blank video window. In this case please go to adobe.com to check your version manually and upgrade if necessary.
    • In IE the Adobe Flash Player upgrades will sometimes not take effect until you close all your browser windows and restart IE.
  • Make sure you have sufficient resources on your machine
    • Although Flash Video is highly efficient, playback of high resolution video is still a demanding task for your machine. Late model multi-core computers with adequate memory and graphics capability can improve playback compared to older, slower machines.
    • Other processes running on your machine can impact performance, if they consume too many resources.
  • If you can't see the video at all please check your connection and Flash Player capability at http://www.imediasee.com/support/flash-diagnostics.
